What you keep in mind in your work and research

Currently, my main research involves measuring brain activity through electrocorticogram (ECoG) related to motor and language tasks during awake brain surgery. The goal is to identify task-specific brain activity. One key aspect I focus on is adhering to a on-the-ground approach. During the actual procedure, various challenges often arise. For instance, unexpected noise can interfere with ECoG measurements, preventing the acquisition of clear data. Additionally, during data analysis, we may find tips to improve the measurement methods that were not initially apparent. By observing and confronting these issues by myself during both measurement and analysis, I strive to continuously refine my research methods.
