New Evidence for Orthopedic Surgery Using Real World Data

What you keep in mind in your work and research

The key is to pay close attention to details while maintaining a sense of speed. In orthopedics, we strive to reduce surgery time and lessen the burden on patients by meticulously planning the details before surgery. The same applies to research. In studies using receipt data, the research design and disease definitions significantly impact the results, so we ensure that our research is conducted with meticulous attention to detail. However, if we don't also prioritize speed, other researchers may beat us to it. Therefore, we try to progress multiple studies simultaneously. Receiving the Most Paper Contributions Award from Professor Kawakami upon completing my doctoral program has motivated me to continue this approach in the future.
